I loved sniping in BFV, but in 2042 something has felt off from the beginning. I’d probably use other snipers more if it felt like bullets went where they’re actually supposed to go. Like what is Dice's deal with Helicopters? What is your fascination with them and why do you want them to dominate the game so badly? It's always been the worst part about Battlefield It was my absolute favorite gun in the game. You even buff them by increasing their ammo count. So you nerf the hell out of one of the most fun guns to use in the game, that also allows you to contribute to your team, but you leave air vehicles alone. If someone is standing perfectly still, head shots were obviously very easy, but everyone moves in such weird patterns and its like shots won't register unless you're flicking onto them. People can strafe back and forth covering 10-15 feet instantly. You really start to notice the strange movement players seem to have in this game because of the network or something.
Who is play testing this?! It was a powerful weapon, but you had to play in a specific way to be effective with it.
It already takes 3 body shots at not that far range to kill infantry, unless you're getting head shots.
The charge-up time was increased, which makes the gun feel pretty awful to use now. Since when have vehicles become too weak and have under performed? I don't think a single Tank or Aircraft have been destroyed by a single Rorsch sniper.
